Somersby Apple Cider

Somersby Apple Cider is now my current favourite drink! I've been seeing people posting about this drink on Facebook and I just had to try it out.

It taste like apple juice and it has a really refreshing taste! Very easy to get it down, I just couldn't stop! Although with 4.5% of alcohol but it doesn't have the bitter taste like any beer. I really like this! I don't like beer because I don't like bitter taste. I just don't understand why people like beer so much!

And now I am addicted!

This drink is cheaper in Singapore compared to Malaysia maybe because of tax. Good news to me because everything in Singapore is expensive!

No Long in Idle Mode!

Hello my creamy marshmallows,

Your's truly is back!

I know I have been gone for quite sometime, and guess what?

Yes! I finally got my Honours Degree. I was too busy with my thesis and life before this. Therefore I didn't blog much and also because I was not in the mood :(

Many things happened and I was in a transition? Maybe? Well, whatever :D But it's okay. Now I am blogging from Singapore!

Royal Palace Korean BBQ Restaurant (Chung Wa Dae) @ Ampang (韓國村)

One fine day my sis brought me to Ampang for some korean food after running some errands. This is my first time in Malaysia's Korean Town.

They were playing Oppa Gangnam Style again and again!

My sis loves spicy food, so she ordered this Kimchijige for herself.

One thing that I like about korean food is simply because of their side dishes!

You can refill the ones you like,

UNLIMITED.

Being a typical Asian, of course you must have rice.

And soup! Pardon my shaky photos, I'm too busy eating. Haha.

I think this is called Samgyubsal. The guy cooked for us, we only need to wait for it to be cooked.

And EAT!

This vege is used to pair it with the meat.

Same goes for these.

This is how you eat it!

Or this. Eat however you like!

Saw this huge thing at the cashier.

Paid RM58 for 2 Samgyubsal and 1 Kimchijige. Not to forget those unlimited side dishes!

Will come back again, some day! Very authentic place!

Pineapple Cake from Din Tai Fung, Taiwan

I'm sure you've heard about Din Tai Fung Restaurant. Their xiao long bao is awesome! Apparently, this Pineapple Cake is very famous in Taiwan. It comes with a metal case with 10 pieces of pineapple cakes packed individually.

The packaging is nicely done. Quite suitable to be given as a gift.

It's quite similar to our Chinese New Year's pineapple tarts.

The pastry is very soft but not too buttery like our type of pineapple tarts. And the fillings is not too sweet, just nice. Too bad, only can buy this in Taiwan :(

Go Green?

Do you do your part in making your planet a greener place? Sometimes I will wake up earlier and buy some food from the hawker stalls nearby my place for lunch when I am sick of the mamak food at my work place.

Do you always buy take-away food and never bring your own food case? Maybe you should try to opt this kind of habit as well :) It really makes a huge difference!

Rafflesia The Pearl Centre @ Great Eastern Mall

I went to Great Eastern Mall the other day and stumbled upon this cake design competition by those well-known hotel in Malaysia.

The theme of the cake of course is "Rafflesia". Each cake sculpture is RM1000 for charity fundraising, while the smaller cakes were RM10 each.

*Warning Picture Heavy Below*

Very creative and beautiful indeed. I bought one piece myself too from Berjaya Hotel!

It was really nice. Very different from those normal cakes you can get outside.

Oh yea, Aaron Aziz was there too.

With other local celebrities that I don't know as well. LOL.

By the way, check out Aaron Aziz's sweet ride! And I forgot who won. But who cares, as long as the fundraising was successful can already. LOL.
